- Begin by selecting a ripe cantaloupe and a firm cucumber. Slice the cantaloupe in half, scoop out the seeds, and dice the flesh into manageable pieces.
- In a blender, combine the diced cantaloupe and cucumber. Blend on high for about 30–40 seconds until the mixture is smooth and silky.
- Pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh sieve into a pitcher. Use a spatula to press down on the pulp, extracting all the liquid.
- Once mixed, add freshly squeezed lime juice to the pitcher. Stir gently to combine for about 15 seconds.
- Fill tall glasses with ice cubes. Pour the strained mixture into the glasses until they are approximately three-quarters full.
- Top each glass with sparkling water or club soda. Gently stir to mix the layers slightly without losing the bubbles.
- Garnish each drink with fresh mint leaves and a cucumber slice on the rim of the glass.
