Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking sheet with butter or oil.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the ricotta cheese, granulated sugar, vanilla extract, almond extract, and egg. Blend until smooth, about 2-3 minutes.
  3. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the ricotta mixture, stirring gently until just combined.
  5. Fold in the slivered almonds until evenly distributed.
  6. Scoop out the dough and shape into pillows on the prepared baking sheet.
