  1. Start by cubing the ribeye steak into bite-sized pieces, chop the onion, and slice the mushrooms thickly. Mince the garlic.
  2. In a large pot, heat oil over medium-high heat. Season the ribeye with salt, pepper, and flour. Sear the steak for 4-5 minutes until browned, then set aside.
  3. Add onions and mushrooms to the pot, sauté for 5-7 minutes until onions are translucent and mushrooms are golden.
  4. Pour in ale, scraping the bottom of the pot. Simmer for 2-3 minutes.
