Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cook the noodles according to the package instructions, typically 6–8 minutes for egg noodles or 3–5 minutes for rice noodles. Drain and keep warm.
  2. In a medium bowl, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, hoisin sauce, and cornstarch. Marinate the thinly sliced beef for about 10 minutes.
  3. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
  4. Add the marinated beef in a single layer and stir-fry for 3–4 minutes until browned and cooked through. Set aside.
  5. In the same skillet, sauté the minced garlic and grated ginger for 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
  6. Pour in the beef broth, scraping up browned bits, return cooked beef to the skillet, and let simmer for 2–3 minutes until sauce thickens.
  7. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet, tossing gently to coat with the beef and sauce for about 2 minutes.
  8. Garnish with green onions and sesame seeds. Serve immediately.
