  • 1/4 cup Granulated Sugar can be reduced
  • 1/4 cup Light Brown Sugar packed
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt to taste
For the Strawberry Filling
  • 2 cups Fresh Strawberries chopped coarsely
  • 1 tablespoon Lemon Juice optional, but recommended
  • 2 tablespoons Cornstarch

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Line an 8-inch square baking pan with aluminum foil and coat with cooking spray.
  3. Melt the unsalted butter and combine with flour, oats, sugars, and salt until sandy texture.
  4. Press the mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan to form a crust.
  5. Toss strawberries with sugar, lemon juice, and cornstarch in a mixing bowl.
  6. Spread the strawberry filling evenly over the crust.
  7. Sprinkle reserved crumble topping over the strawberry layer.
  8. Bake for 50-55 minutes until the topping is golden brown and filling is bubbly.
  9. Cool at room temperature for about 1 hour before slicing.
