Step-by-Step Instructions for Sweet Potato & Cranberry Gratin
  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Peel the sweet potatoes and slice them into thin rounds. Boil in water for 10-15 minutes until tender. Drain and set aside.
  3. Grease a baking dish and arrange half of the sweet potato slices in the bottom.
  4. Sprinkle half of the cranberries over the sweet potato layer.
  5. In a bowl, mix heavy cream, brown sugar, cinnamon, salt, and pepper. Pour half over the first layer.
