  • 1 cup Shredded Cheddar Cheese Try Monterey Jack or pepper jack as alternatives.
  • 1/2 cup Ranch Dressing Substitute with chipotle ranch dressing for spiciness.
For the Shells
  • 12 pieces Frozen Phyllo Tart Shells Keep frozen until ready to use.

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large skillet, brown the lean ground beef over medium heat for about 6-8 minutes, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain excess fat.
  3. Stir in the taco seasoning and diced tomatoes and chiles; let this simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine shredded cheddar cheese and ranch dressing until smooth, then fold in the beef mixture.
  5. Carefully remove the phyllo tart shells and spoon the filling generously into each shell.
  6. Bake the filled shells for 8-10 minutes if thawed, or 10-13 minutes if partially frozen, until golden brown.
  7. Once baked, let the Taco Ranch Bites cool for 3-5 minutes before serving.
