Ingredients

For the Salad
  • 8 ounces Rotini Pasta swap for gluten-free pasta if needed
  • 2 cups Cooked Chicken Breast rotisserie chicken works well
  • 4 cups Romaine Lettuce can substitute with spinach
  • 1 cup Caesar Dressing homemade or store-bought
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan Cheese grated or shaved
  • 1 cup Croutons season for extra flavor
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes optional, for freshness
  • 1/4 cup Fresh Parsley/Basil optional, for garnish

Equipment

  • Large pot
  • Mixing bowl
  • Tongs

Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add rotini pasta and cook according to package instructions, typically 8-10 minutes, until al dente. Drain the pasta and rinse it under cold water to stop the cooking process.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooled rotini pasta with diced cooked chicken, chopped romaine lettuce, and optional cherry tomatoes. Gently stir the ingredients together.
  3. Pour Caesar dressing over the pasta mixture. Using tongs or a large spoon, gently toss everything together to ensure all ingredients are well-coated with dressing.
  4. Add grated Parmesan cheese and season with salt and pepper to taste. Gently fold the cheese into the salad.
  5. If not serving immediately, top your salad with croutons and freshly chopped herbs right before plating. Chill in the refrigerator for up to 2 hours if desired.
